Impulse to create
Preparations for the VET 4.0 project are slowly coming to an end and we are pleased to present news from the development of the game in VR. A total of 12 scenarios will be prepared to help students gain practical experience necessary in their future professional life.
The VR app is set in a spaceship and puts the player in the shoes of an astronaut who has to perform maintenance and keep the ship running properly. During his mission, the player will encounter technical problems and many other obstacles.
We proudly present you following parts of the spaceship:
2. Holograms in the navigation room
3. Transport hall (Airlock)
4. Speed of light animation
VET 4.0 is a project funded by EEA Funds from Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland. Its main stakeholders are educational institutions, industrial enterprises and professional organisations from Poland, Norway and the Czech Republic. The project involves a wide range of activities, including vocational courses, internships and work placements in industrial enterprises, to enable young people to learn practical skills and gain valuable experience. In addition, the project also provides support for educational institutions to improve their curricula and prepare students to work in the age of Industry 4.0.
VET 4.0 is an important project that helps to prepare young people for the future labour market and provides them with the necessary skills for successful participation in Industry 4.0. It aims to support the development of young people, especially students in industrial schools and vocational training colleges. VET 4.0 will enable them to adapt to a rapidly changing labour market. The focus will be on the quality of the work experience so that students get the most out of it in practical life. In addition, comprehensive guides for teachers are being prepared on how to work effectively with young students.
Nvias is primarily in charge of virtual reality game development. Preparations for the VR game are in full swing and we should see the final version by the end of this year.
